Eric Standley's work, "Gravity of Absence," 2025 Paper, gold leaf, pins, acrylic, fabric, fiberfill, and wall paint 91 x 36 x 3 inches. An intricate, symmetrical artwork with elaborate, lace-like patterns in shades of blue, green, gold, and beige. The design consists of swirling, interwoven shapes that resemble filigree or delicate organic structures, with a central focal point radiating outward. The negative spaces within the pattern reveal dark, contrasting areas, adding depth and complexity to the composition. The artwork has a highly detailed, ornamental appearance with a blend of geometric and organic elements.
